I went to SANs and all I got was this lousy polo

The trip all in all sucked... I had to travel home alone... and I really didn't get any good information from the conference like I thought I would.... My coworker is now a slave driving pupet for my real boss.

Then I was reading this article in the NY times. Seems that people want to not only forget the fact that these people lost their homes, but make sure that we don't have to pay for them ever again. I can understand where they are coming from... at the same time people need to realize that God just hates trailer parks and anyone who builds their home below sea level in a bowl. Floridians are close to death anyway... a storm is just speeding that process for us... I just find it odd that they are building houses here in my city in any part of the desert that is bare. They built houses right on the edge of the Pantano wash. Now for those not from these parts a wash is a basically a giant ditch that the city has devised to facilitate water flow out of the city if perchance a large storm comes rolling through. The washes lead to the Santa Cruz "river" of which is just a larger wash at this point. Needless to say I was here in 1992 when the washes flooded and everything around them washed away like New Orleans. Now there are houses where they shouldn't be again... I guess people forget after 10-15 years. These same people are building their houses on top of old dumps... but we won't go there....

On another note... this man is bad... Although... he is not as white as Michael.

I'm looking at two books for diets that I plan on taking my wife and I into... One is a crazy Asian diet which has you eating mostly brown rice... the other comes from You an Owners Manual which is entertaining and educational and I'm sure in the long run, will lead to a healther lifestyle. However there is an alternative...
